Old and St. Andrew's Church, Montrose

Walking Group

We are a small ecumenical group and would be delighted to welcome anyone on our walks - on a regular or occasional basis. We meet on the second Saturday of each month with the time and place of meeting advertised in the monthly copy of "News". Those planning to join the group on any Saturday are asked to let the organiser know - name and telephone number quoted in "News". Walks are usually between 5 and 7 miles and on fairly level ground. Those without transport will always be given a lift.

The Craft Group

The Craft group meets fortnightly on Wednesday afternoon meeting at 2.00pm in the Church Session Room.

We knit, embroider, make cards, do patchwork, decoupage, or you can bring your own work. Tea (and cake!) is served at 3.00pm. All are welcome, particularly new members.

This sessions meetings are as follows:-

For further information contact Bob Cook.

Discussion Group

The discussion group grew out of 'Alpha Courses' and it is informal, welcoming and open to new members.

The Group meet in the Swanson Rooms, 121 High Street, Montrose between 1.30 and 3.00pm on a Monday.

The group is currently using video material as a starting point to discuss people who have put their faith before all sorts of hardships.
